The Italian designer Giorgio Armani fashion show this Saturday was the protagonist of Milan Fashion Week, with a collection from night to day, in a day in which the collections of Salvatore Ferragamo, Alessandro Dell’Acqua for Elena Miró and Emanno Scervino.
Armani has presented a parade to dress at night during the day, with black velvet and bright satin in soft blues as prominent textures, and geometric prints, but also flowers and stars to cover its models, who paraded in a dominated circular stage by a huge green gorilla, a props figure that is now part of the designer’s home furnishings.
Raglan sleeves, combinations of tight bodies and wide skirts, wide pants or suits with very long blazers were seen, for which shoes and sneakers are worth. The designer sees “fashion as a liberating, gratifying gesture, about the desire to shine, always with moderation, even in such a difficult moment”.
In the case of men, jackets are worn as shirts and soft coats over pullovers close to the body with geometric designs.
Futurism and the everyday
In a futuristic environment, the Salvatore Ferragamo collection for men and women plays with bright colors in leather garments of all kinds, jacket suits, vests, long skirts, wide trousers, but also transparent capes and blouses, mixed with open trousers that reveal some booty-type sports shoes that have been, without a doubt, the highlight of the parade.
Contrary to stereotypes, Dell’Acqua’s collection for Elena Miró, with a virtual show starring Dutch supermodel and actress Lara Stone, featured lace dresses and skirts, along with tweed jackets and coats, as well as matching double coats. with tube skirts.
Scervino, meanwhile, opted for the everyday, but without losing the glamor: country boots with studs, fringed feathers, flared sequin skirts and coats with open sleeves.
Milan Fashion Week will conclude next Monday, with presentations by Dolce & Gabbana and Valentino, one of the few designers who has opted for a live presentation over digital, which is the one that has dominated the Milanese catwalks.
