It is one of the riskiest hair trends of the moment; a daring and radical change that, however, has not prevented him from becoming the most desired and flattering for tops, actresses, singers or stylists. If at the beginning of the year, Hailey Baldwin recovered the pink in her hair (the same one with which she stepped on the red carpet at the Met Gala with Shawn Mendes in 2017), Suki Waterhouse, Julia Roberts, Khloé Kardashian or Maisie Williams are the last additions to a long list that shows that, despite its striking finish, pink hair continues to rampage among celebrities. So much so that a well-known Victoria’s Secret model would have decided, that weekend, to ditch her sought-after golden hair for a grunge-inspired pink tie-dye.
The most radical color of the moment continues to conquer ‘celebrities’, on and off the catwalks.
This weekend, Behati Prinsloo shared a photo on her Instagram profile that has attracted a lot of attention from her followers. In it, the model can be seen sitting on an unmade bed with a look where she recovers some of the stylistic milestones of the 90s (open male plaid shirt, black pants and Dr Martens military boots); a retro look that she wanted to combine with her radical new hair change. Despite having seen her a few weeks ago at the party organized after the Oscar awards ceremony, with an elegant animal print dress, the model has said goodbye these days to her usual golden tone, to give way to a striking pink tie- dye. A change that seems to have convinced her followers; a group of fans who immediately left numerous comments applauding her new image. “How beautiful,” shared one admirer. “Your hair is amazing,” added another.
Although it has not yet been revealed if it is something specific, for work reasons, or a more lasting change, the truth is that the model seems happy with the work of Lorenn Van Gorder, the hair stylist who hides behind this new tone in his mane. An old friend, whom she always trusts when she has to step on a red carpet and who has surely already explained what are the steps to follow to take care of her pink hair: hydrate the hair as much as possible and avoid shampoos with sulfates to maximize the brightness.
