Buenos Aires – The Federation of Latin American Designers (FDLA) announced which brands will be part of its digital edition, which will take place from February 15 to 17, during the next New York Fashion Week fall / winter 2021.
On the agenda for this season will be the Spanish Agatha Ruiz de La Prada and Custo Barcelona, as well as Dorin Negrau, from Romania. The Latin American designers that will be part of this edition are Gianina Azar and Keyther Estevez, from the Dominican Republic; Benito Fernandez, from Argentina; Yirko Sivirich, from Peru; Leti Faviani, from Chile; Indira & Isidro (Jewelry Collection), from Mexico; Prince Julio Cesar, Idol Jose, Dayana Leon and Carlos Sierra from Venezuela.
Albania Rosario, founder of FDLA indicated that in this second online version the public will have access, through the site and partner platforms of the event, to know the stories of the designers, see their collections, portfolios and fashion shows.
You can find a diversity of proposals linked to the possibilities that each brand has had to produce during the health crisis due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The CFDLA platform will also promote virtual showrooms and showrooms that will help connect brands with buyers, thus adding the commercial ingredient to this edition. “Continuing into the future and the opportunity to change, collaborate and innovate is essential. Many of our members have embraced the FDLA as a platform not only for fashion but also for its influence on society, identity and culture. The current pandemic has led us all to reflect in a more moving way on the society in which we live, and to reflect on how we want to live our lives and build our businesses, ”Rosario said.
